The update after day one one realizes ladder is still a grind and even though you lose less trophies your match making is much more difficult. Additionally there should be gates at each league level as well. So if you get into Masters for the season you should be safe from not dropping below Masters in order to help with progression. The rewards are not that appealing. For people who have been playing the game since day one don't need more cards we need more gold to upgrade the cards in which we collected the max cards for but no gold to upgrade them.
